Days 1 to 5: let it cure
- Keep the windows up for the first few days so the edges can bond.
- Wait 3 to 5 days before cleaning the inside of the glass.
- A slight haze or small water pockets are normal while moisture dries out. Warm sunny weather speeds this up.
Pick at the edges, use the rear demister heavily in the first days, or press on any bubbles. They clear on their own as the film cures.
Cleaning tinted glass
Use a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free glass cleaner, or plain water with a drop of baby shampoo. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, scrapers and abrasive pads, which can damage the film surface.
Long-term
Seat belt buckles and loading items through the window are the most common causes of scratches. Our premium films are made to last many years without fading, bubbling or peeling, and are covered by warranty. If anything looks wrong after the first week, message us.
